Chai breakfast bowl

Good morning! I've got a tasty new recipe for you guys. If you didn't already know, I'm a little obsessed with chai tea. It's an absolute staple in my life. I just love how that warm blend of spices just makes my morning feel cozy. So...I decided it was time to come up with a recipe to merge my chai tea love with one of my favorite breakfasts, protein porridge (or oatmeal, whatever ya wanna call it)! 

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

1/2 apple (thinly sliced)

1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp. ground cloves

1/4 tsp. ground ginger

1/4 tsp. ground cardamom

1 tsp. agave

3 scoops Protein World vanilla chia + flax porridge

3/4 cup vanilla soy milk

1 handful of granola

1 tsp chia seeds

1/2 banana 

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees F.  Blend cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and cardamom. Place your apple slices in a pan and sprinkle with the spice mixture. Drizzle agave over the spiced apples and bake for 5 min until apple slices are soft. 

In a cereal bowl, mix porridge and soy milk. Microwave for 1-1.5 minutes. Top with apples, sliced banana, granola, and chia seeds.
